Prime Minister Narendra Modi extended a formal invitation to Slovak Prime Minister Robert Fico to visit India during high-level talks in Bratislava on Monday, marking a significant milestone in India–Slovakia relations as both leaders agreed to elevate their bilateral engagement to a Comprehensive Partnership.

Addressing the joint press statement in Bratislava during his state visit, Prime Minister Modi expressed his satisfaction that the Slovak leader had publicly accepted the invitation, which he stated was extended on behalf of 1.4 billion Indians.

“On behalf of 1.4 billion Indians, I invite you to visit India, and I am delighted that you have publicly accepted this invitation,” Prime Minister Modi said.
